Influencer Jhanvi Singhvi shared a video on social media platform Instagram in which she shared three items that should never be kept in the fridge.
The following is a list of these items:
- Onions:
Keeping onions in the fridge can cause mold growth due to excess moisture in them. This is a type of fungus that can produce mycotoxins and can cause vomiting, abdominal pain, and diarrhea.
- Garlic:
Refrigerating garlic can also pose the same health risks.
- Potatoes:
Potatoes are the third food that becomes harmful to consumers after being refrigerated. Refrigeration turns starches into sugars, making them sweeter in taste.
